We are huge fans and know many of you are too, but if you aren’t familiar, Xmal Deutschland are vanguards of goth and post-punk, forming in 1980 with an all girl line-up and releasing some of the great classics of the genres.
Their original singles have never been repressed and we are beyond thrilled to announce pre-orders are live for our Sacred Bones mail-order exclusive neon magenta vinyl version of a very special compilation, Early Singles (1981-1982), a map of the foundational movements of Xmal Deutschland, just seconds before takeoff. This compilation contains all the songs from the Schwarze Welt and Incubus Succubus singles, plus bonus tracks, “Kaelbermarsch” and a gritty live version of “Allein,” which further accentuate their fusion of toughness with the quixotic decadence of atmospheric synthesizers.
We also have mail order exclusive versions of the separate singles in their original format. You can now pre-order the Sacred Bones mail-order exclusive yellow vinyl edition of Xmal Deutschland’s first 7” Schwarze Welt and their post-punk classic 12” Incubus Succubus on mail- order exclusive half black and half red vinyl.The reissues of the singles in their original format will only be available from the Sacred Bones website and Bandcamp. These are both limited to 500!
