Flavio Zarck is a sculptor who works in metal, recycling, self-taught, born in 1982. With up to high school level studies and lifelong learning and constant practice in the management of industrial raw materials (steel, brass, aluminum, plastic), with the use of welding and machining techniques (autogenous and electrical) in a lathe workshop and welding. Knowledge acquired through profession and paternal legacy: “Do not be afraid of the irons,” was what my father told me when I first started my work.
Active worker in maintenance, design and practice given to individual projects, agricultural and industrial customers.
Since 2008, transformer scrap metal into artistic expressions.
Active in society related to the active development and dissemination of culture , to always encourage the evolution of human society.
The particular perception of the world that we have as individuals , continually shaped by the time , places and accumulated experiences. Under this concept I capture ideas, expressions and intentions.
School and education in the first, and the religious beliefs of family tradition were part of the environment in which I grew up. The existential ideas, like death and life purpose came abruptly and with it a new way of seeing and feeling the world . Beauty in the deformable environment by time, the prevailing force of nature to the finite man and his laws , to enjoy the feelings of the senses that lack of morality. It’s where myself and my work unfolds , between the vast of the universe to the invisible of the smaller existences. Always looking for forms of expression that feel the reality of an idea, touching , and this way everyone feel the ideas.
The metal , and in specific the rusty, forgotten, is a material that I have always been in contact and often cause for contemplation in its infinite forms With it , scrap , and use of electric welding , have filled that empty expression desired.
Every work that i perform was impregnated with force , like life comes to me. Each one is a warrior who rise facing at inert and fight for his place in life. Back again and again to remember that not only exist the living things, it for all matter. The energy flow never stops. Force , existence, life and death, reason, sense , development, protection and resurrection is my intention in the expressive proposal that I offer to life, to art.
