I Drama Emperor sono una metamorfosi congenita, un viaggio musicale che racconta storie di potere (abuso) e terzi mondi “occidentali”, ma anche di come, nel pieno dell’allarme, si puo’ vivere seguendo quel senso estremo di folle lucidità, capace di indicare una direzione. lo fanno colpendo a fondo, senza mezzi termini, catturando l’attenzione di chi ascolta. l’ep “omonimo” appena uscito su anomolo.com è l’estratto, in sintesi, di tutte le emozioni che i “Drama Emperor” sono capaci di riversare fuori, verso chiunque sia in grado di coglierle.

Drama Emperor is an italian band with three members (Michele Caserta, Cristiano Ballarini and Simone Levantesi) that, after a self-produced ep, have now published his debut album, “Paternoster in Betrieb”.
This cd has been recorded in autumn 2012 and give a great view of Drama Emperor’s music world. One of their main caractheristic si the idiomatic mix: lyrics are mostly written in english, but a few are in german (such as in the single “Aber”), and there is a chorus in italian too.
Musically speaking “Paternoster in Betrieb” perfectly stays between indie rock and electronica.
The song “Teknicolor” has been produced by Martin Bisi (well known for his works with Sonic Youth, Swans, John Zorn and others).
