Vallens is a band put together by it’s sole song writer, Robyn Phillips. Taking cues from everything from Rolland S Howard to Portishead, Vallens takes the feeling of Twin Peaks and buries them inside of heavy guitars and ethereal synths
Vallens are midway through recording their full length debut, starting at Galuminimfoil in Brooklyn with Jeff Berner of Psychic TV and continuing at Candle Recording with Josh Korody of Hand Drawn Dracula label mate Beliefs and Wish. Vallens are due for their first single in the spring/summer of 2015.
